Black Bag Collection – November 9-10
The St. Vincent de Paul Society’s semiannual Black Bag Collection for the poor and needy in our area will take place during all Masses the weekend of Nov. 9-10.
The second Black Bag Collection of this year will allow our conference to provide needed assistance through the winter and spring seasons. Our conference holds two Black Bag Collections per year—one in May and one in November. We work to be good stewards of your donations. We serve those in crisis with rent, utilities, food, fuel, and some furniture/bedding items through our visits. Due to Hurricane Beryl, many families have been in need as they continue to recover from lost wages and work on home repairs.
We need 500 families to accept our FAMILY CHALLENGE to donate $100 or more to the St. Martha Conference. The challenge will run through Nov. 22.
Please help our conference continue to bring the love and mercy of Jesus to those who feel left out and abandoned as they face crises.
