Little Angel Choir ( Grades K-2nd. ) Gloria Dei Choir ( Grades 3rd - 8th ) The Youth Choir provides an opportunity for the children of our parish to come together and share their talents and love for music, while gaining a greater sense of the importance of their own active participation in the liturgy and spirit of service to God. This includes leading the congregation in sung prayer at the 9:00am Family/Children's Mass once a month during the school year and at special celebrations for the feast of Christmas, Easter, and the Masses celebrating First Holy Communion. While both choirs practice separately, they come together at liturgy to "make a joyful noise" to the Lord. The youth in Grades 5 through 8 with good singing voices and leadership abilities are encouraged to learn to be Cantors, leading the assembly when the Choir is scheduled to sing. All children of the parish in Grades K through 8, who love to sing, are welcome to join the Youth Choir. Rehearsals: Thursdays during school year, except for school holidays.
