The Ministry of Altar Servers consists of approximately

120 young man and young women, ranging from sixth grade

through their senior year of high school.  Many of the older servers

have been serving for five years or more and are a real asset to the

server program.  Dedication to the Lord the responsibility to the parish

and the server ministry are characteristic of our servers.

 

The Altar Server Ministry at St. Martha's parish, is open to young men and young women who meet the four requirements:

1.  Server must be in at least sixth grade.

2.  Registered parishioners in St. Martha's parish.

3. Must be annually re-certified to continue serving in the Ministry.

4.  Server must be responsible.

 

New Server Training:

Classes are held twice a year, in summer and once in the fall,

to train News servers or "novices". once trained, the news server

will be scheduled to serve with experienced,  veteran servers.

Schedules are sent out for two months at a time.
