What is LIFE TEEN? |
|
|
-
LIFE TEEN is a comprehensive youth ministry
program based on, focused on, and directed
toward the Eucharist. Each week, at a LIFE
TEEN Mass and LIFE Night, high school teens
gather in an environment to experience fully
the greatest gift we have as a Catholic
Church.
|
-
LIFE TEEN is Spiritual, Educational,
Emotional, and Social. It’s all about
“Leading Teens Closer to Christ.”
|
-
LIFE TEEN is under the patronage of the
Blessed Virgin Mary.
Please pray, through the intercession of the
Blessed Virgin Mary
for our LIFE TEEN program.

Who can come to LIFE TEEN? |
|
|
-
All high school students (grades 9 to 12)
are invited to participate in the faith
formation segment of LIFE Night following
the LIFE TEEN Mass. All parishioners are
invited and encouraged to come and join in
our LIFE TEEN Mass every Sunday at 5:30 PM.
All high school age teens are invited to
join us on our retreats. Since LIFE TEEN is
centered around the Eucharist, the Liturgy
is the most important part of the LIFE TEEN
program. But, we encourage everyone to have
full participation in the LIFE TEEN
Program. From the Mass to the LIFE Nights;
our Wednesday youth group and our retreats;
our service and outreach programs; this is
what makes up LIFE TEEN and this is what
high school teens are invited to be
participants in.

TEEN Prayer |
|
|
|
Jesus, the Bread of Life, taken, blessed,
broken and given away so that all might be
healed and have LIFE.
|
|
Father, TAKE the lives of our teens. We
offer them to You with open hands. Through the
example of Jesus, teach them to surrender their
lives fully to You. BLESS them with the
knowledge that they are Your beloved ones and
that they truly belong to a community of love
and mercy. BREAK open their hearts so
that the seed of the Word and the power of the
Eucharist can be planted in fertile ground, take
root and transform their lives. GIVE
these teens to the world with the power of the
Holy Spirit to witness to the love of Jesus and
serve Him in each person they meet.

Let this LIFE TEEN ministry be bread for
the world. As Christ gave You thanks and fed
many, may we give You thanks for this ministry
and ask You to “multiply” it and nurture its
growth for Your glory. Amen. |
