MISSION STATEMENT:
To bring Catholic singles
from all parishes in our area opportunities to enrich their
lives through fellowship, new friendships, worship, study, and
service.
Northeast Catholic Singles (NCS) welcomes those who are at least
40 years old to come and join us. Make new friends, and open
the door to many opportunities to enhance your life!
NCS has single Catholics who join us for our
activities from many parishes in our area, including St. Martha
in Kingwood, St. Mary Magdalene in Humble, St. John of the Cross
in New Caney, Sacred Heart in Crosby, St. Mary’s in Cleveland,
and St. Edwards, St. Ignatius, and St. James. We are starting
to connect with other Catholic singles groups, too.
We offer a variety of activities throughout the
month. Some of the most popular lately have been attending mass
then having lunch or dinner together, going to plays, out of
town trips (we’ve been to Palestine TX to ride the steam train
to Rusk, and also spent a weekend at the Mad Island Marsh Nature
Preserve), and coffee one evening a month at a Starbucks (or
other coffee place). We enjoy going to dances (and sponsoring
them, too). We are always looking for new and interesting
activities to offer our members.
